Ingredients

Protein

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Breading

  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs

Sauce

  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • salt and pepper to taste salt and pepper
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Mix flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Whisk eggs and Dijon mustard; coat chicken in flour mixture, then egg, then pretzels.
  • Arrange chicken on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until crispy.
  • Meanwhile, melt butter, stir in milk, add cheese and mustard to make sauce.
  • Serve chicken with sauce drizzled on top.

Notes

For extra crunch, double coat the chicken in pretzels.
