Ingredients

Salmon

  • 1 pound salmon fillet, skin removed and cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 0.25 cup honey
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • chopped green onions for garnish (optional)
  • sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions 

  • Whisk honey, soy sauce, garlic, cornstarch, black pepper, and salt until combined.
  • Marinate salmon for 10 minutes, then remove and set aside.
  • Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Cook salmon for 2-3 minutes per side until crispy, then drizzle with leftover marinade and cook 1 minute more.
  • Serve immediately, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds if desired.

Notes

For extra crunch, serve with a side of steamed rice or vegetables.
