A flavorful and crispy chicken dish coated in a spicy chili sauce, perfect for a quick and delicious meal.

Ingredients

  • 500 g boneless chicken, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cornflour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 cup water
  • oil for frying oil for frying (Enough for deep frying)
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 3-4 green chillies green chillies, chopped
  • 1 onion onion, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper bell pepper, sliced
  • 2-3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 tsp sugar

Garnish

  • spring onions for garnish spring onions

Instructions 

  • Mix flour, cornflour, salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder to make the batter.
  • Dip chicken pieces into batter and fry until golden and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
  • Sauté garlic, onion, and bell pepper in vegetable oil until softened.
  • Add chopped chillies, soy sauce, vinegar, and sugar. Mix well.
  • Add fried chicken to the pan and toss in the sauce. Garnish with spring onions and serve hot.

Notes

Ensure oil is hot enough before frying for crispy chicken.
