A comforting and creamy dish featuring ground turkey and mushrooms served over egg noodles, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Meat

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions 

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet, sauté onion for 3 minutes, then add garlic and cook 1 minute.
  • Add ground turkey, cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Stir in mushrooms, paprika, salt, and pepper; cook 5 minutes.
  • Mix flour with chicken broth, pour into skillet, simmer 3-4 minutes until thickened.
  • Reduce heat, stir in sour cream, cook 2 minutes without boiling.
  • Cook egg noodles according to package, drain.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use full-fat sour cream and fresh herbs.
