A quick and delicious pasta dish with a creamy tomato garlic sauce, perfect for a satisfying meal in just half an hour.
Ingredients
Pasta

pasta (spaghetti or penne)

olive oil

garlic, minced

canned diced tomatoes

heavy cream

teaspoon
dried basil
to taste
salt and pepper
for serving
grated parmesan cheese
for garnish
fresh basil leaves
Instructions
Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain.
Heat olive oil in a skillet, sauté garlic for 1 minute.
Add diced tomatoes, simmer for 5 minutes.
Pour in heavy cream, add basil, cook for 5 minutes until thickened.
Season with salt and pepper, toss with cooked pasta, serve with cheese and basil.
Notes
Use fresh basil for garnish and adjust seasoning to taste.
