A delicious baked pasta dish combining tender chicken, fresh broccoli, and a flavorful pesto cream sauce topped with melted cheese.

Ingredients

Pasta

  • 8 oz penne pasta
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup pesto sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp italian seasoning
  • for greasing olive oil

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook pasta, then drain.
  • Mix cooked chicken, broccoli, pesto, cream, garlic, seasoning, and pasta.
  • Season with salt and pepper, transfer to greased baking dish.
  • Top with mozzarella and Parmesan, then bake 25-30 minutes.
  • Let cool briefly before serving.

Notes

For a lighter version, use less cheese or substitute with low-fat options.
