1poundItalian sausage (casings removed)
12ozshort pasta (penne or rigatoni, cooked and drained)
1wholeonion (chopped)
3clovesgarlic (minced)
1cancrushed tomatoes (28 oz)
1/2cupheavy cream
1cupshredded mozzarella
1/2cupgrated Parmesan
1tablespoonolive oil
1teaspoonItalian seasoning
1/4teaspoonred pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Cook pasta until just under al dente, then drain.
In a skillet, heat olive oil. Add sausage, onions, and garlic; cook until browned.
Stir in crushed tomatoes, cream, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper; simmer 5 minutes.
Mix cooked pasta with sauce, half of mozzarella, and Parmesan. Transfer to baking dish, top with remaining mozzarella, and bake 20–25 minutes until bubbly.
