Ingredients

Meat and Grains

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup uncooked rice
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 cup frozen peas (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Sauté onion and garlic in olive oil until softened.
  • Add ground beef; cook until browned. Drain fat.
  • Mix in rice, broth, soup, seasonings, and peas. Transfer to a greased dish.
  • Bake covered 30 mins, then uncover, add cheese, and bake 10-15 mins until bubbly.
