Ingredients

Bread

  • 20 oz White Bread, cubed
  • 14 oz Condensed Milk (use less if preferred)
  • 1 cup Whole Milk or Half and Half
  • 4-6 large Eggs (depending on your flavor preference)
  • 0.5-1 cup Sugar (depending on your sweetness preference)
  • 0.5 cup Butter (melted)
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 0.25 cup Butter
  • 14 oz Condensed Milk (use less if preferred)
  • 0.5 cup Whole Milk or Half and Half
  • 0.25-0.5 cup Brown Sugar (depending on your sweetness preference)
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Place cubed bread in a baking dish; set aside.
  • Blend melted butter, condensed milk, spices, vanilla, milk, sugar, salt, and eggs until combined.
  • Pour custard over bread, press down to soak, then bake uncovered for 1 hour.

Notes

Use less condensed milk for a lighter pudding or add nuts for extra texture.
