Ingredients

Meat

  • 500 grams ground chicken
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Pinch salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions 

  • Mix ground chicken, onion, garlic, parsley, cumin, coriander, salt, and pepper.
  • Form mixture into small oval koftas.
  • Preheat grill and brush with olive oil.
  • Grill koftas for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally.
  • Mix yogurt, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt for sauce.
  • Serve koftas with garlic yogurt sauce.

Notes

Ensure not to overmix the kofta mixture to keep them tender.
