A creamy and cheesy baked pasta dish combining tender chicken, broccoli, and Alfredo sauce for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

Pasta

  • 1 lb penne pasta
  • 2 tbs olive oil

Chicken

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cubed
  • salt and pepper to taste salt and pepper (to season chicken)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Broccoli

  • 1 large head broccoli cut into florets

Sauces

  • 2 16 oz jars Alfredo sauce
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
  • cooking spray cooking spray

Cheese

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions 

  • Cook pasta until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  • Cook chicken in olive oil until no longer pink, then add broccoli and cook briefly.
  • Mix cooked pasta, chicken, broccoli, Alfredo sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Transfer mixture to a sprayed baking dish, top with Parmesan and mozzarella cheeses.
  • Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25-30 minutes, then rest before serving.

Notes

For a lighter version, use less cheese or a low-fat Alfredo sauce.
