Cheesy Ground Beef & Potato Casserole (One-Pan Dinner!)

A hearty and cheesy one-pan dinner combining ground beef, potatoes, and vegetables for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Meat and Dairy

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk

Vegetables

  • 4 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 1 onion onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Seasonings and Others

  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Optional Garnish

  • fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cook onion and garlic in olive oil until softened, then add ground beef and brown. Mix in soup, milk, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  • Layer half of the potatoes in a greased baking dish, spread half of the beef mixture, then repeat with remaining potatoes and beef. Top with cheese.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes, then remove foil and bake 15 more minutes until tender and bubbly. Garnish with parsley if desired.

Notes

For a creamier texture, add a splash of cream or more cheese on top before baking.
