A rich and comforting bread pudding made with sweetened condensed milk, perfect for using up leftover bread.

Ingredients

Bread

  • 5 cups cubed day-old bread (French or brioche preferred)

Condensed Milk

  • 14 oz sweetened condensed milk

Milk

  • 2 cups whole milk

Eggs

  • 3 large large eggs

Butter

  • 2 tbsp melted butter

Vanilla Extract

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Cinnamon

  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

Salt

  • 1/4 tsp salt

Raisins (optional)

  • 1/3 cup raisins (optional)

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x9-inch baking dish.
  • Place bread cubes in dish, add raisins if using.
  • Whisk together condensed milk, milk, eggs, melted butter, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt. Pour over bread and soak for 5–10 minutes.
  • Bake for 45–50 minutes until golden and set. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve warm or cold, with optional toppings like caramel or vanilla sauce.
