A hearty and flavorful beef pasta dish that's easy to prepare and perfect for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Meat

  • 1 lb lean ground beef

Pasta

  • 12 oz spaghetti or penne pasta

Oil

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Garlic

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

Tomatoes

  • 28 oz canned crushed tomatoes

Herbs & Seasonings

  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp dried thyme

Salt & Pepper

  • to taste Salt and pepper

Cheese

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese (for topping)

Instructions 

  • Sauté the beef in olive oil until browned.
  • Add minced garlic and cook for one minute.
  • Pour in crushed tomatoes, add herbs, salt, and pepper. Simmer 15-20 minutes.
  • Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • Combine pasta with beef sauce, add reserved pasta water if needed.
  • Serve topped with grated Parmesan cheese.

Notes

For a richer flavor, let the sauce simmer longer.
