A quick and flavorful pasta dish featuring tender chicken and a spicy, creamy bang bang sauce.

Ingredients

Pasta

  • 12 oz penne pasta

Chicken

  • 2 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cut into bite-sized pieces)

Sauces and oils

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 green onions green onions (sliced)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions 

  • Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • Season chicken with salt and pepper. Cook in olive oil until golden and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes.
  • Whisk mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and garlic to make the sauce.
  • Add pasta and chicken to skillet. Pour sauce over and toss to coat. Heat through.
  • Garnish with green onions and parsley. Serve immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a squeeze of lime or a sprinkle of sesame seeds.
