Ingredients

Protein

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 0.25 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 green onions sliced (for garnish)
  • sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions 

  • Whisk soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, rice vinegar, and black pepper.
  • Marinate chicken in the mixture for 30 minutes.
  • Cook chicken on grill or skillet for 6-7 minutes per side.
  • Simmer reserved marinade for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  • Brush marinade over cooked chicken, garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate longer or add a sprinkle of chili flakes for heat.
